He could be the consummate book boyfriend with his dreamy hazel eyes, strong jawline, and those black-rimmed glasses. Not to mention that accent. Oh, that French accent. When Pierre speaks, I feel like I’m curled in his arms on a riverbank being fed chocolate-dipped strawberries.
Not Pierre’s arms, of course. We barely just met. And I’m just me. And he’s Pierre, internationally renowned romance author.
Seeing Pierre in person has me stammering and blushing—two things I don’t usually do.
Imagine my surprise when I receive a call a few weeks after meeting Pierre—from his agent—proposing marriage. Not that I’d marry his agent.
They want me to marry Pierre.
Book Review:
This was such an adorable read! I have loved every single one of Savannah Scott’s books, and this one was just lovely!
Pierre was an adorable MC! He had such a gentle soul, and it was fun to read about a quiet professor like MC. He wasn’t grumpy. He was just more reserved, but Tasha brought a lot of life to him.
Tasha was such a fun character! She’s quirky and compassionate, and I love her energy next to Pierre’s. They balanced each other well. Tasha had enough energy to liven Pierre up, but she didn’t overwhelm him while Pierre grounded Tasha.
The plot to this one is amazing! It’s super wholesome with minimal drama which I feel like fit Tasha and Pierre well. I would definitely recommend this closed door romcom! It’s the perfect fall read.
