He’s completely wrong for her. But their marriage may be exactly what she needs.

Professional bullrider Jason Keen is chasing a national title–and running from his mistakes. When his last sponsor threatens to pull their support unless he becomes the poster boy of a charming, family friendly cowboy, there is no way he can pull it off. Unless he can find another way to soften his rough-edged image while he works at Redemption Ranch between events…

Despite her family’s status as Colorado ranching royalty, Cassie Reynolds’ heart has been tied to the rodeo since her first event at the tender age of five. If her possessive ex-boyfriend would get the hint and leave her alone, she’d never leave her rodeo marketing job. Unfortunately, with each passing day, he’s growing more desperate to claim her.

When a week at home on Redemption Ranch is interrupted by the appearance of Cassie’s ex, Jason can’t stand by and let him terrorize the owner’s daughter. Could her unorthodox proposal be the solution to get them both through the holidays and the rodeo national finals?

Book Review:

I adored the Heroes of Freedom Ridge series so I was really excited to start the new series by some of the same authors. Marrying the Rancher’s Daughter is the first book in the multiple author series called, Christmas in Redemption Ridge.

Jason and Cassie were such interesting characters. They were such opposites but it was sweet to read about their interaction. Although they did not start off the “normal” way, they still really cared for each other. I loved both of these characters, they really drew me in.

Jason was more hardened by life and he wasn’t looking for love. It was cool to get to know Jason and understand him more. He was a bit of a more grumpy character but he genuinely cared for those around him. Jason had to learn to let others in, trusting God. Cassie was a sweet character. She was trying her best to prove herself and show her family that she could do well. Cassie had to learn to ask for help.

I liked reading about Jason and Cassie falling in love. They learned to trust each other as they fell in love. The story was also interesting and I was wondering how everything was going to work out. Jason needed to fix his image and Cassie needed protection from a possessive ex. The story was fun and believable, I also liked how it set the stage for the other books.

Marrying the Rancher’s Daughter was a wonderful book and I would definitely recommend it! I am so excited to read the other books in the series. Marrying the Rancher’s Daughter is a clean Christian romance.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, I was not required to write a positive review.
