She’s his opposite, and opposites don’t attract. So why is she impossible to resist?

Tessa Mitchell is finally getting a chance to work at her brother’s private security firm, and after one hundred other jobs that didn’t work out, this one needs to stick. Headquarters could use a makeover anyway. Oh, and she’s working for up-tight Adam. Ruffling his meticulous feathers should be fun.

Adam Roberts doesn’t need an assistant, especially not flighty Tessa. If she’d let him get a word in between her constant questions, he’d save her the trouble. She’s not meant to work in the security field.

Except, Tessa is intelligent underneath all that flirty chatter, and Adam can’t focus when she’s around. The smart thing to do would be to shut down the feelings and put some space between them. Instead, they’re sent out of town for work. Together.

When a snowstorm descends on their first co-assignment, will a change in the weather cause a change in their hearts?

Book Review:

Another wonderful book.  I have been so lucky and the past few books that I have read have been really good and this book is no different. Hope for the Hero is the 16th book in the Heroes of Freedom Ridge series. I have loved Blake’s additions to the series and this was just as good as I had hoped.

Adam and Tessa were so much fun to read about! Tessa was just so full of life. I really enjoyed reading from Tessa’s perspectives and learning more about her. She was constantly trying new things, but she was also trying to prove herself. Tessa had to learn to find her worth in Christ and trust that God was working out all things. I love how Tessa stayed true to her convictions.

Adam was such a complicated character, but I loved reading about him. He had been hurt in the past and he had closed himself off. Adam had a lot to work through but I loved seeing him grow. He had to learn to give it all to God and trust that God was good even when life was hard. I love how Adam always seemed to encourage Tessa to hope for the best and never settle.

I really liked reading about Adam and Tessa interacting together. They balanced each other. It was sweet to read about them interacting and connecting with each other. They helped each other be better and it was sweet to read about. It was fun to read about them both growing and learning to trust God more. I love how Blake is able to weave faith into her stories

Hope for the Hero is a must read and was just a wonderful read. Hope for the Hero is a clean Christian romance book. I would recommend it to those who enjoy sweet romances with faith woven into the story.

Cheyenne will do anything to clear his name, but will Ridge forgive her when he finds out what she’s done?

Book Review:

This was just a great book! I was excited for this book and hopeful that I would like it and it was wonderful! The Only Exception is the third book in Mandi Blake’s Wolf Creek Ranch series.

Cheyenne had a past and a desire to provide for her family. Cheyenne was tired and at the end of herself so she took a job to spy on Ridge Cooper never expecting to find a home instead. There were times when I wanted to shake Cheyenne but there were also times when I understood her. She was just trying her best, but she needed to learn that God was the one in control. Cheyenne needed to let go of her past hurts and look to the future.

Ridge had so much hidden in him. It was so interesting to learn more about him and see past his walls. He was fiercely loyal but that could get him into some trouble. Ridge was a wonderful character and I was drawn to his story from the beginning. He had to learn to trust God and those around him.

The characters were engaging and I grew to love Ridge and Cheyenne as I read their story. They both had their struggles but they learned to trust God and each other. I love how faith is prominent in Blake’s books. The plot was engaging, and I was wondering how Ridge and Cheyenne were going to end up together when there were so many secrets between them. The side characters are always a lot of fun and I am beyond excited for the next book!

The Only Exception is a must read! It can be read standalone but it is much more fun to read it in order. The Only Exception is a clean, sweet Christian romance. The story draws you in and the characters become your friends.

Almost Everything is the second book in the Christian romance Wolf Creek Ranch series.

Book Review:

This was just a sweet book! I enjoy reading Mandi Blake’s books because they always shine Christ throughout the book and they have happily ever afters. Almost Everything was another wonderful book! I was excited to see how this book would turn out and it was really good!

Everly was such a sweet character, she was really thoughtful and kind. I liked Everly from the beginning and I felt so bad for her as she tried to pick up the pieces of her life. She had everything until it all crashed and burned. I loved how strong Everly was and how she tried to lean on God even when her life felt crazy. However Everly also had to learn how to stand up for herself and how to rest in God’s plan.

Blake was a fun character. He had loved Everly for a long time but he stayed away because she was engaged. However now she was single but she was also reeling from her break up. I liked how honorable Blake was and how he respected Everly. He didn’t try to push his feelings on her. It was cute to read about him interacting with Everly and seeing how much he liked her. He really cared for and he wanted her to be happy. Blake would have to learn how to listen to Everly and not just try to fix things for her.

Blake and Everly were fun to read about together. They had an easy chemistry especially because they had a lot of history together. Blake was Everly’s brother’s best friend and he was also her friend. I liked the easy interactions. It was interesting to read about them falling in love and working through their struggles. They had a lot of hurdles to jump over.

I really liked the side characters and I spotted at least two different books in the making! I liked Everly’s brother, Ridge, and I am super excited for him to get his own book. It looks like there is going to be quite a story.

Almost Everything was a lovely read and I would totally recommend it! The characters are sweet and I love how faith is woven so seamlessly into the story. Almost Everything is a clean Christian contemporary romance.

Book Review:

This was a sweet book. I was excited to see that Mandi Blake was writing a new series and it was such a good start to the series. Truth is a Whisper is the first book in Mandi Blake’s series, Wolf Creek Ranch. And I am so excited to see how this series and these characters will turn out!

Ava had gone through a lot in her life. Her mother was not the kindest woman and Ava had been beaten down most of her life. She didn’t know her own worth. However, coming back to Wolf Creek Ranch changed everything for her. She found her family again and a place to belong. I liked Ava’s growth as a character, she learned to trust God and those around her. Ava was a sweet character and she hated conflict, she wanted to help those around her. It was cute to see how Jameson and Ava connected, Jameson made Ava feel safe. However Ava will have to come to terms with her mother and learn that there were secrets that kept her from her family on the ranch.

I was super excited to read Jameson’s book! He had been in other books and I couldn’t wait to read more about him. He was such a sweetheart in this book. I loved his hardworking attitude and how he cared for Ava. He had fallen hard for her before and it was definitely cute to read about him interacting with her. Jameson wanted the best for Ava and he wanted her to see her worth and hope in Christ. However Jameson had to learn to trust God and see that he did not have to prove himself to anyone.

Jameson and Ava were a fun couple to read about. They had their problems, but I liked how they trusted each other and worked it out together. I also adored Ava’s grandfather and the other characters on the ranch. I can’t wait to see what other stories Blake writes about these characters! I really enjoy how Blake is able to weave faith and God in so seamlessly without making it over-bearing.

Truth is a Whisper was a great book! I would definitely recommend it! Mandi Blake is definitely an author to check out. Truth is a Whisper is a clean Christian contemporary romance.

Hunter Harding was marked as an outcast a long time ago. The scars on his face are the least of his problems when half the town refuses to do business with him. When Felicity moves into the cabin next door, the solitude he keeps is shaken up.

Will helping Felicity pick up the pieces of her life give them both the new beginning they need or destroy everything they have left?

Book Review:

I have been waiting for this book and it did not disappoint! I read it in one day! Redeeming the Cowboy is the final book in Mandi Blake’s Blackwater Ranch series. This series was a wonderful series and I am so sad to see it come to an end, but I can’t wait to see what else Blake writes!

Hunter was such a complex character and I couldn’t wait to read his story! You don’t really know a lot about him from her other books. He seems kind of like a loner and he prefers to stay away from the spotlight. However he also works hard and is kind. But the scars on his face make life difficult for him and makes him weary of others. Felicity was also so interesting, she basically raised her younger brother on her own and she is used to carrying for herself. But when she finds herself at Blackwater ranch after running because of the death of her cousin, she finds a family that she never expected. She also finds a man who seems to understand her like no one else. Will Felicity and Hunter be able to pick up the pieces of their life and start living, or will they destroy everything they have left?

But anyway, I loved Hunter. He was such a sweetheart underneath his stormy exterior. He loved his family deeply and he just wanted them to be proud of him. He never felt like he truly belonged, so he was always trying to earn his keep. I liked reading about Hunter as he learned to appreciate the family he had in the Harding family and as he interacted with Felicity. It was sweet to see this stubborn man, falling in love. Will Hunter learn to let go of the past so that he can create a future?

Felicity was a lot of fun, she was such a hard worker. The scenes with her and Hunter were super cute. I also adored the sibling relationship she had with Jameson. It was nice to read about Felicity bonding with the other Harding ladies and to read about such strong family relationships. Felicity had to learn to let others help her and that she couldn’t do everything on her own.

Hunter and Felicity balanced each other out, they both had rough upbringing so they understood each other. They could trust each other and be comfortable. They had to learn to overcome their past together as people came back into their life. I liked how they also found their family in the Hardings. The rest of the Harding family was a lovely addition to the book and I really liked how we got to see more of the parents.

Redeeming the Cowboy was an awesome book! It was touching and heartwarming, but it was also very interesting! I didn’t want to put it down. I would totally recommend it! Redeeming the Cowboy is a clean christian book. I am eagerly waiting for Jameson’s book, Truth is a Whisper!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, I was not required to write a positive review.
