Book Review:

This was just as good as I had hoped! Everything that Mastorakos writes seems to be a hit and this one was just lovely! Christmas with the Boy Next Door is the second book in Jess Mastorakos’ Christmas in Snow Hill series. I have been waiting for this book to be released and it was worth the wait!

Jack was just so much fun! I love his relationship with his sister and how kind and considerate he was. I really loved Jack and getting to know more about him. He was such a wonderful character, I was definitely rooting for him as he tried to make a relationship work with Robin. Jack had to learn to get go of his feelings about Christmas and embrace the hope for a future.

Robin was also lovely! I connected with her from the beginning and I wanted to see her end up with Jack. Robin was such a strong character and I loved how she cared for her daughter, Abby. Robin had to learn to let go of the past and her fears, hoping for the best. She had to trust that loving Jack was worth the risk of losing him.

Jack and Robin had such great chemistry and I loved reading about them together. Their interactions were easy and they had a great connection. Their romance was super sweet and fun to read about. I also love the side characters, Holly, Jack’s sister, and Noelle, Jack’s niece, were just wonderful additions. I love the family aspects in this book and the siblings’ relationships. It was cute to read about Jack interacting with Abby. I also loved Tommy and I am so excited to see that he is going to get his own book!

The plot was interesting and I was engaged the whole time. I read this book in one day! I could not recommend it more! It had a wonderful mix of romance and a hint of suspense and mystery. Christmas with the Boy Next Door is a clean contemporary romance and I would recommend it to those who have enjoyed Mastorakos other books and just even clean contemporary Christmas romances.

Book Review:

Amazing of course! I can’t believe that this series has come to an end, but this was a wonderful end to this lovely series. The Runaway is the sixth and final book in Jess Mastorakos’ Brides of Beaufort series. I have been getting more and more excited for this book and it was even better than I had hoped! I read it in one day!

Nikki had a lot of things to work through but she was so still strong and considerate. Nikki had her daughter to consider and she was just trying her best. I loved how Nikki tried to see the best of things but how she could be herself with Nate. Nikki had to learn to let others in and to fight for what she wanted.

Nate was a grump but he was a sweetheart on the inside. He was trying to work through the break up of his on again off again girlfriend, never expecting a road trip to change his life. I really liked Nate and his character. He was kind and considerate and he did his best to help Nikki and Marigold. Nate had to learn to believe that things could get better.

Nikki and Nate were such a cute couple together. They really balanced each other out and helped the other person be better. I really liked their relationship and reading about them falling in love. It was fun to read about the progression of their relationship. Marigold was a lot of fun! I adored her relationship with Nate. He was just so sweet with her.

Let me say, I was also so excited to see some old characters. There were some awesome scenes with the characters and I loved it! I also saw hints of a new series. The Runaway needs to be on your TBR, I could not recommend it enough! The Runaway is a clean contemporary romance with a grumpy and sunshine trope

Book Review:

This was of course another win by Mastorakos. I have to admit I was a bit worried about this book, but it ended up being amazing! No Place Like Home is the first book in Jess Mastorakos’ Love in Charlotte Oak and it is part of the Fall Back in Love Collection.

Laney was a great character. Although she was a superstar, she still kept to her roots. She did not allow fame to change her or at least she was trying to stay true to herself. I liked Laney, she was trying to figure out who she was and what she wanted to be known for. Laney was sweet and I liked how she had a great relationship with her family and her old town.

Everett was a sweetheart. He had fallen hard for Laney and never recovered when she left. Everett was a complicated character but just as fun to read about. He truly loved Laney and he wanted her to be happy. But Everett also had to work through his feelings of being left and learn to trust Laney again.

Everett and Laney’s relationship was so sweet to read about. I liked how they were friends first. Although this was a second chance romance, it did not feel awkward or weird. The story was sweet and I liked how Everett and Laney were never hostile to each other. Everett and Laney had to work through a lot, especially their past.

I liked the pace of the story. It did not feel dragged out but it also didn’t feel rushed. The characters were fun, and I adored the small town feel. No Place Like Home is a wonderful book and I would definitely recommend it! You need to get your hands on this book! I am also so excited for this new series.

Book Review:

Ahhh! I love the marriage of convenience troupe and I was beyond excited when I saw this book! It was just amazing!!! The Contract is the fifth book in Jess Mastorakos’ Brides of Beaufort series. Chase gets his own book which is awesome. He has been through so much and definitely deserved his own story.

Zoe was fun and I adored her family. She loved her big Greek family and their traditions but she also wanted to choose her own life. I loved how Zoe still respected her family but how she also stood up for what she believed in. It was cute to read about her interacting with Chase. She wanted him to be happy and she loved having him with her. Zoe had to figure out what it meant to love Chase and how to make a marriage of convenience work.

Chase was a sweetheart. Zoe had captured his heart, but he never knew how to say more. It was cute to read about Chase interacting with Zoe and her family. They accepted him. Chase had to learn to work through his family issues and what it meant to marry Zoe.

Chase and Zoe were a sweet couple. They encouraged each other to be better and they tried to understand each other. I enjoyed reading about their interactions and I loved how they were friends first. I also adored Zoe’s family, they were just a lot of fun. Chase and Zoe had to learn that marriage was hard but that it was worth it. The story was easy to read and I read this book in one day!

The Contract is perfect and I would totally recommend it! It is definitely my favorite Mastorakos’ book right now! I am also so excited for the next book. Mastorakos’ books just keep on getting better and better. The Contract is a clean marriage of convenience romance.

Book Review:

I always love love love Jess Mastorakos books and this was just another amazing book! The Fake Date is about Lyndi and it is the fourth book in Jess Mastorakos’ Brides of Beaufort series.

I loved learning more about Lyndi. She had been in previous books but you did not know that much about her. I loved Lyndi’s little quirks and the things that made her different. She was introverted, a bookworm, and overthink everything. She was just such a relatable character. It was fun to read about Lyndi as she figured out how to be herself and how to let others in. She was a wonderful character. Lyndi would have to figure out if Beau was worth the uncertainty of life, he was a Marine and there was no guarantee of where he would end up.

Beau was also a sweetheart. I was so excited to see that he was going to end up with Lyndi. Beau was a fake date for hire but he was also kind. He did enjoy his side job but he never let anyone in. He had lost people at a young age and he was guarded. However when he agrees to fake date Lyndi, he finds himself opening up. She had a way of breaking down his walls. Beau will have to decide if Lyndi is worth it and if he is willing to risk love.

Beau and Lyndi were a sweet couple. I really liked how they were able to connect with each other and how they truly saw the other person. Beau and Lyndi were both people who put up walls but around each other they could be themselves. The romance was so sweet and cute. They did have some bumps to go over especially since they were fake dating. However I never felt like the book was awkward or moving too fast or slow.

The side characters were fun and I love seeing cameos. Mastorakos does cameos so well! The relationship between the main group of friends is always a lot of fun because they get each other. I am super excited for the next book! Chase has been a side character in so many books and it is cool that he finally gets his own book!

The Fake Date was amazing as Mastorakos’ books always are! I would definitely recommend this book! I am also counting down the days until the next book, The Contract.The Fake Date is a clean contemporary Marine romance.

Book Review:

Ahh! This book was perfect and everything I could have hoped for. I loved it and read it in one day! The Bridesmaid is the third book in Jess Mastrorakos’ Brides of Beaufort And it was amazing! I have been loving this series and they keep on getting better and better.

Layla had been hurt by Zac before. Is she willing to let him back into her life? Layla was fun. She worked as a teacher and she loved to paint. She was kind but she was also weary because Zac had left her before. I loved Layla’s strength. She wasn’t a pushover but I also love how she forgave Zac. She was smart but she did not allow her feelings to control her. But if her relationship with Zac were to grow, Layla is going to have to learn to trust him again.

Oh, Zac, he truly was just trying his best. I loved his relationship with his son, Grayson, and how protective he was of his sister, Jo. Zac made poor decisions at times but he was trying to amend his mistakes. I liked how he was open to help. He wasn’t perfect but he was willing to grow and he truly did love Lydia.

Zac and Layla were so cute together. I loved their easy banter. They had their issues at times, but they still loved each other. Grayson was also such a sweet character! I enjoyed reading about Grayson connecting with Layla, too cute. I also adored Jo, she was so funny. The sibling relationships were a great addition to the book.The characters were so much fun in this book and I really enjoyed seeing the girls and guys interact with each other. They were true friends to each other.

I just loved everything about this book! I did not want to put it down and finished it before I knew it. I was really sad about finishing it so quickly because the next book doesn’t come out till later. The Bridesmaid is a sweet second chance, single dad contemporary Marine romance.

Book Review:

This was another amazing book by Jess Mastorakos. I am constantly blown away by her characters and stories, they are always awesome books! The Planner is the second book in her series, Brides of Beaufort. I was super excited for this next book and it did not disappoint, I mean can I gush even more about an author and her books.

Aria was so sweet and cool. She is running a wedding planning business, that is just so cool. I loved her spunk and her kindness. She was stubborn and she worked hard. I felt for her as she helped brides with the happiest day of their life, while longing after a guy who wouldn’t date her. She had fallen for her brother’s best friend but it had never gotten anywhere. Aria had to fight for Will, he was stubborn but so was she. She didn’t let people walk over her or make decisions for her, but she still listened to counsel. I enjoyed reading about Aria, she felt real and relatable. Aria had to learn what it meant to love Will and how to show him that she loved him.

Even with all of his faults, I still loved Will. He was kind and he was just trying his best. He didn’t have the best childhood so he was afraid of becoming like his father. He had loved Aria since high school but he was scared of hurting her. I felt for Will, he was trying to be a better person. He was also afraid of losing the only family that had cared for him. It was fun to read about Will, reading about him growing. He fought for the underdogs, he just had to learn to cut himself some slack. Will has to take a chance and hope for the best.

Will and Aria were cute together, I liked their chemistry. They had known each other for most of their life so they already knew each other well. It was sweet to read about them admitting their feelings for each other. Although Paul made some blunders, I loved getting to see more of him and Shelby. Mastroakos writes such stunning characters, I always enjoy the interactions and relationships between the characters.

I finished The Planner in one day! It was just so great! I would totally recommend it. The Planner is a clean contemporary Marine romance. It has great characters, brother’s best friend, and an engaging plot. I am super excited for the next book! I just wish I didn’t have to wait so long. 🙂

Book Review:

I have been waiting for this book and it did not disappoint! A Royal Christmas for the Marine was such a fun Christmas romance. It is the fourth book in Jess Mastorakos’ rom-com series, First Comes Love series. It was a lovely sweet romance.

Maya and Theo were wonderful to read about. Maya was a Marine who was trying to figure out what to do with her life. She was trying to learn more about herself and be a person that could help others. Maya was so much fun to read about. I loved how she spoke her mind and didn’t shy away from hard things. But she could also be vulnerable and she was looking for a place to call her own. Maya had to figure out if she what she was willing to sacrifice to be with Theo

Theo was a prince but he was so much more than that. I liked how he understood that he was a prince but he was also trying to find the balance of being himself. He loved his people and he wanted to serve them well but he also was learning about himself. I adored his relationship with Zara and his assistant. Theo was so sweet and it was cute how he was able to be himself around Maya. However, Theo had to learn what it meant to love Maya and have her in his life.

I always love finding new royalty romance books to read and this one was a hit. The characters were so fun and I really enjoyed their banter. Theo was a great prince, and I loved how he communicated with Maya. Maya was a force to be reckoned with, I loved her fierceness and her fearlessness. Maya and Theo had a connection, their romance felt real and not rushed. I really like the way Mastorakos wrote about their relationship.

The side characters were a lot of fun and they really added to the book. One of my favorite things about this book was the conversations. The characters’ banter did not feel stilted, but instead full of life. I felt as if I was getting to know the characters as I read.The book was really interesting and I did not want to put it down. It didn’t feel slow or boring. The characters were facing everyday life and yet I was intrigued about how everything was going to turn out.

I loved this book! A Royal Christmas for the Marine is a must read, I think it may be my favorite from this series. I read it in one day, it was that good. A Royal Christmas for the Marine is a clean royalty romantic comedy.

Book Review:

Um yes, this book was amazing! I have been in such a bad reading slump that even the books I love take a couple of days to finish, but I finished this book in one day! The Proposal is the first book in Jess Mastroakos new series, Brides of Beaufort. It was such a sweet and fun read!

Paul was ready to take the next step in his relationship with his girlfriend and propose, but when she rejected him, his plans went down the drain. Thankfully he has a best friend who will stand by him, Shelby. Shelby has been in love with Paul since high school but because of her heart condition, she has kept him at arm’s length. But when they are drawn back together, they throw caution to the wind and decide to try and make a relationship work. Will their relationship survive or are they destined to just be best friends?

Shelby was so cool! She was strong and she cared about others deeply. She was kind but she was also more closed off, she let few people really into her life. However Paul was one of those people who would stand by her against anything. She had some health issues so she was worried about life. It was interesting to read about Shelby as she was navigating life with her health condition, it did not define her but it was still a part of her. I loved reading about Shelby as she learned to let Paul into her heart and how to learn life to the fullest. She was just a wonderful character.

Paul was a sweetheart. I adored his relationship with Shelby and how he cared for her, he was so sweet. I also liked reading about his interactions with his family and friends. Paul just wanted the best for Shelby and he was trying so hard to be a good friend. It was differently cute to read about him caring for her and just being a great friend. I loved reading about them falling in love. Paul had to figure out what it meant to be in a relationship with Shelby and how to make her feel loved.

Shelby and Paul were such a sweet couple together and I loved that they were friends first. They had a comradery and it was just so cute to read about them interacting. I also adored the side characters. Paul’s sister was so much fun and the other friends were also great! I think I have an inkling of who the next book is going to be about, I don’t know how I am going to wait to read it. 🙂

The Proposal was everything that I had hoped for and more! I adored the characters and the storyline. Shelby and Paul tugged at my heartstrings and I would totally recommend it! The Proposal was just an amazing book!

Book Review:

This was simply amazing! I stayed up past midnight finishing it, and now, I have a book hangover. It was that good! Trusting in You is a companion novel to Jess Mastorakos’ San Diego Marines series. I was so excited to read this book because I had really liked Eric, and it did not disappoint.

Eric Moore knew that he was in trouble when Lucy James walked into his office. She had him from the beginning. However, she was his client and he couldn’t take the risk. As he spent more time with her though, he found himself falling for this stubborn, kind Marine who would do anything for her brother. Lucy just wants to help her brother, and she is even willing to fight for him in court. She never expected to fall for her lawyer. Will Lucy and Eric be able to make their relationship work or are the lines between them too blurred?

Lucy was such a great character. She was strong and considerate of those around her. I loved her relationship with her brother. She truly cared for him, but she was also struggling to figure out how to best help her brother. I loved her vulnerability and how she truly wanted the best for her brother. I loved her throughout the book, and I adored reading about her growth and learning to overcome her own insecurities and past. I liked how Lucy felt real. She had her own problems, and she wasn’t perfect. But she tried her best.

Eric was amazing! I loved him, he was such a kind guy, and he really cared for those around him. I loved him in this book and getting to see things from his side. He was so sweet, and I loved how he fell in love with Lucy. It was sweet to read about him interacting with Lucy and Lucy’s brother Patrick. Eric had to figure out how much he was willing to risk in order to be with Lucy.

Lucy and Eric had a sweet relationship. I loved reading about them together. I also adored their interactions with Patrick. Lucy loved her brother and she wanted him to flourish, not just be okay. It was so cool to read about Eric reaching out to Patrick, and seeing Patrick beyond his autism. Patrick was such a cool character and I loved reading about him. I also loved seeing old characters from previous books. It was a lot of fun. These characters had such good banter and I just loved everything!

Trusting in You was all that I had hoped for. I can not recommend it enough! The characters were lovely, and I fell in love with them from the beginning. Eric was so swoony and sweet and I adored Lucy. The storyline was engaging and I could not put it down. Trusting in You is a must read! Trusting in You is a clean Marine romance.
